In November of last year, the home of a Colorado Springs man burned down and left him and his dog “Black Jack” homeless and living in his car. His name is Shelby Hudgins and one snowy night a couple of weeks ago a TV crew caught up with him on a street corner, not asking for help, but doing what he could for others. Shelby noticed a lot of people were struggling to get up a snowy street, so he helped strangers for hours, by pushing as many as he could up the hill! People responded with offering food, donations and an outpouring of thanks. The next night the crew caught him lending his blanket to homeless folks in the area. Shelby says he has enough to get by and he just wants to help make the world a better place. It just goes to show you sparks of kindness are everywhere!
