...Needtobreathe have been releasing videos on their website and YouTube page called “The Live Room Sessions”. The guys said “The Live Room sessions were recorded in Studio A at the infamous Ocean Way Recordings in Los Angeles, CA earlier this year; the same room The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, Radiohead, Tom Petty and more used before us. Despite the fact that we were coming off of a long break from playing music together, we knew that the opportunity to record at Ocean Way was something we would regret passing up. In retrospect, this session represents a landmark for NEEDTOBREATHE. This is the band getting our mojo back, right in time for the release of ‘Rivers In the Wasteland’”. That new album hit stores August 19 and it’s available at your favorite place to get new music. You can see all seven videos from “The Live Room Sessions” here.

As of this weekend, The ALS Association announced they had received over $100 million in donations thanks to the Ice Bucket Challenges. Find out more at http://www.alsa.org/. By the way, Sonrise writer/producer Michael Stuart got challenged and did his and then challenged Sonrise host Kevin Peterson, which he accepted and you can see them both here.

...Tenth Avenue North has a new four song EP called “Islands” available on iTunes right now. On the name “Islands,” the guys say “You and I are not meant to be alone. Even Adam was given a helpmate. We were made to commune with God and with one another. So, if you’re living like an island, come back to the mainland! No shame is so great, no mistake so large, that you cannot come back to the body! And, if you’re beating yourself up because you’re lonely, don’t do that. You’re made like God! You should feel unnatural in isolation.” Check out the EP here.
