It’s a wish come true for one 9-year-old girl in Florida. Palmer Vorkapich took center stage in front of more than 1,000 people in her Broadway debut in the "Mean Girls" musical. The thing that makes it so special, is that when Palmer was just 6 years old, she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and spent months in the hospital receiving chemotherapy treatments. Since then, Palmer had one wish — to go to New York City and perform on Broadway. And the Make-A-Wish Foundation made it possible a few weeks ago in what is now Palmer’s third year in remission! Palmer loved the experience and the Broadway lights may have lit the career path for her!
