An 87 year old man went to buy a lottery ticket, but fell and broke his hip. Not a good start, but it does get better! Earl Livingston, from Blackwood, NJ, ended up in the hospital. He told some of the nurses of his misfortune, so a physician's assistant helped lift his spirits by cutting him in with 141 employees for the hospital's lottery pool. The jackpot amount was 1.7 billion and unfortunately, they didn’t win that. But they did win 1 million! Earl will split the cash with the 141 employees, and he’s grateful they included him.
