Jarrett Little was out riding with a group of fellow cyclists when he came up on a 5-month-old Great Dane mix with a broken leg, a broken toe and was covered in road rash. Jarrett said he couldn't really walk, so he hoisted him, piggy-back style, and carried him for a seven-mile ride into downtown Columbus, GA. They got to a local bike shop to get some water and food, and the dog took an immediate liking to a woman named Andrea. She took him to get medical help and ended up adopting him for herself. She named him Columbo, in honor of the town where she found him. She even started a Facebook page in his honor. You can see the whole cool story. BTW, Columbo needed 25 staples and 4 pins in his hind leg, but now he’s healing well!
