One of our favorite things about Sonrise is hearing from people who’ve been touched by something they heard on the show. Whether it’s a song that made an impact on your life, or a story that someone shared, it’s great to know that it’s helped in some way, so if there is something that has touched you in a special way, we’d love to hear about it. Everybody has a story, and we’d love to hear yours.

newfriendsLeah Carroll and Emily Geyer didn’t know each other when they walked into a Chattanooga Chick-fil-A. Now the world knows their story. Leah took her special needs son, Malachi, to lunch, and Emily’s two sons started asking questions… loudly… about Malachi’s differences and wheelchair. So Emily took them over to meet him, and Leah said the joy that Malachi got out of meeting two new friends, meant the world to her. Leah wrote a touching post about the encounter on her Facebook page and it went viral, getting over 75,000 views. The two ladies started emailing each other and set up another meeting. This time, Chick-Fil-A made a special video of the reunion.
