If you missed it, the Houston Astros are the new World Series Champs, defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers, but it did take 7 games. Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has been called one of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball, but you may not know a lot about the man from Dallas, Texas. After losing the World Series, there was no crying or pitching of fits. Clayton looked at the pocket bible in his locker and said, “At the end of the day, that’s why I play the game, to glorify Him in everything I do and to compete for Him.” Clayton and his wife Ellen also have a nonprofit organization called Kershaw’s Challenge. It encourages people to use their God-given passion and talents to make a difference in their communities. See Clayton’s testimony.
