Between 2004 and 2005, Bill Campbell was stationed in Iraq, where he helped manage security at a Forward Operating Base. His station was hit by numerous blasts over the year, and Bill suffered two concussions. One blast left him with shrapnel too close to an inoperable part of his brain. He’s considered 100% disabled, suffering from PTSD and memory loss, and Bill has a big fear of crowds. To help him regain his life back, he was given a service dog – a yellow Lab named Pax. The two bonded quickly, so Bill wanted to meet Pax’s trainer. That happened to be Laurie, an inmate at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility. The cameras were rolling when they met and watch what happens when Pax sees Laurie!
